I am trying to create my first chalkboard using photoshop cs5! Do you have frer download for that or is it a matter of processing a black background? You may decided to get Photoshop anyway; everyone I know who uses it swears by it, but they all had to spend quite a bit of time learning how to use it properly.

Macs can have viruses also. I think I have been de-throned, but I did not have any of these. When you create the text boxes in Photoshop you can alter the vont.

April Times New Roman, Courier, or anything like that should work fine with it. Another one with Albemerle swash that had a problem.

I have found that some use fonts in Photoshop, but I am not sure what version Photoshop is best to use or how I would use it for what I want. The great things about chalkboards, is that, unlike in design, you can use a bunch of different fonts and it will still look beautiful. Read my full disclosure here.
